Questions About Your Memorial Gift?
What makes this condolence gift so meaningful?
Unlike flowers that fade, a star shines forever. Naming a star offers comfort and remembrance — a gesture that truly lasts.
Will the star really be visible?
Your gift names a real star. Use the registration number in the free Universe Star Finder App to access its details and explore its position. What you can see in the sky depends on your location, season, weather, light pollution and the brightness of the star.
Is the star officially registered?
Yes. The star is recorded in the International Space Registry, one of the most comprehensive private archives of star names worldwide. You’ll receive a unique registration number and lifetime access to the record online.
Note: the scientific designation of the star remains unchanged in astronomy.
Can I add their name and a message?
Absolutely. Many families choose the loved one’s name, their date of passing, or a heartfelt dedication. This makes the gift a deeply personal memorial.
How long does delivery take?
Your digital certificate arrives by email within 15 minutes. Printed gift sets include free standard shipping, with express options and delivery estimates at checkout. You still receive your digital certificate when you add the printed set.
Who is this gift for?
This gift is chosen by families and friends wishing to honor someone who has passed. It’s a gentle, timeless way to keep their memory alive, visible in the night sky.

A personal way to remember someone
A memorial star dedication can be a small, lasting way to honour a loved one. Their name and your message are recorded in a private registry entry and appear on the certificate. You decide what feels right for your memory of them.
Choose the name, date and dedication
Some people use a birthday, a date of remembrance or another day they associate with the person. The dedication can be a familiar saying, a few words of love or a memory. There is no required wording.
Choose a form that feels right
A digital certificate can be kept privately or shared with family. The optional printed set provides a physical keepsake. Duonova includes two connected stars and two certificates if that symbolism fits your tribute; a single star is equally personal.
Keep the memory accessible
Every package includes a lifetime registry entry and access to the Universe Star Finder App. The registration number opens the star’s details. Printed sets include free standard shipping, and express options are shown at checkout. Take time to choose the dedication you want.
